To Our Friends and Sponsors

The Board and each member of the Choir extend sincerest appreciation to everyone who supports RES financially and in other ways. We assure you that past, present and future financial gifts are a source of tremendous encouragement. Your generosity ensures that RES continues to play a leading role in Edmonton’s cultural community.

Every effort has been made to ensure that this is an accurate list of all donors who made contributions to RES between July 1, 2006 and April 21, 2009. If there are any errors or omissions, please contact us at 428-3737 and we will correct our records.

Endowment Fund

Annual giving alone cannot provide sufficient resources for Richard Eaton Singers to meet the challenges of ongoing operation and concert production. RES has recently established the Richard Eaton Singers Endowment Fund with the Edmonton Community Foundation to which donors may make contributions now, over time, or in their wills. Gifts of any amount are most welcome. Income from the endowment will enable RES to strengthen the choir artistically and to build future audiences.

We would also like to thank the dozens of donors who have contributed to the Richard Eaton Singers Endowment Fund at the Edmonton Community Foundation. In 2008 individual donors contributed over $9,000, including gifts in memory of friends and colleagues. A matching grant from Canadian Arts & Heritage Endowment Incentives Program provided a 62.8% match for 2007 contributions to the Fund.

If you work for a company or business with a policy of matching their employees’ charitable donations, they will match your contribution to RES which will double your gift to us. For more information, please contact your employer regarding this option.

If you are in a position to do so, consider making a current gift to the endowment - in addition to your annual support - or make a future gift to the RES endowment by including it in your financial and estate planning.

There are many endowment donor recognition and naming opportunities that we would be glad to discuss with you. For further information, please contact Brian Haliburton, Donor Relations Coordinator at 435-5728.
